SUMMARY:Chamber Dinner Meeting
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, February 20th\, you are all invited to attend our monthly dinner meeting being held at The Davenport Press located at 70 Main Street. Our guest speaker will be our newly elected Legislator\, Scott Strauss. \nScott Strauss serves as Vice President of Corporate Security for Northwell Health and is a retired and decorated Detective from the Emergency Service Unit of the New York City Police Department.  In addition to his career with Northwell Health and NYPD\, Scott\, a 59-year resident of Mineola\, is also active in his community. He is a former Mayor of Mineola\, a position he held for 4 terms starting in 2011. Strauss is a 42-year member of the Mineola Volunteer Fire Department where he was a line officer as well as the department’s chief.  Strauss is a member of many professional organizations\, including the N.Y.P.D.’s Honor Legion\, N.Y.S. Shields Association\, the International Association of Fire Chiefs\, Firefighters Association of the State of New York\, American Society for Industrial Security\, the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety and the N.Y.P.D. Shield program. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNetworking begins at 6pm and dinner is served at 7pm.
