The LIRR Expansion Project from Floral Park to Hicksville, one of the region’s most significant transportation infrastructure projects, will positively impact the Village of Mineola. Over the course of the project, residents and business owners in Mineola will see crews updating and enhancing the Mineola Station, eliminating grade crossings, building two new parking garages, adding sound attenuation walls, relocating utilities, and improving drainage in the area, among many other upgrades.
3rd Track Constructors (3TC) is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. The recently issued NYS Executive Order 202 identifies construction of roads, bridges, and transit facilities as essential construction. We are continuing to progress the LIRR Expansion Project accordingly, while implementing the necessary health and safety measures.
